Lara Oosthuizen

Principle Owner and Registered Conveyancer

Lara joined the team in 2019 and has taken ownership of the business on 1 July 2023. Lara practiced as a conveyancer in South Africa and started completing settlements as a Registered Conveyancer in South Australia upon joining our team. Before joining our team and whilst studying, she assisted in property settlements as a conveyancing clerk.

Lara enjoys the diversity and challenges within various aspects of property dealings, taking great satisfaction and pride in obtaining the best result for every client. Having the continued support from Harold and Nita Baggs with their wealth of knowledge and expertise, supports and expands on our expertise in looking after your conveyancing needs.

Away from the office, you will find her spending time with her family, painting, cross-stitching, diamond-dotting, playing the guitar and learning to master the harmonica.

Juliet Smit

Registered Conveyancer

Juliet joined our team in 2020. She brought with her extensive experience as well as a wealth of knowledge from previous positions held within a legal background. She has since completed her qualification as a conveyancer and has been looking after property settlements since June 2021.

Juliet is very happy when she gets to make that final call after a settlement has been completed, absolutely loving to share in the happiness and excitement of our clients.

When it is time to relax, you will find her curled up with a book, spending time with her family, trying new restaurants and traveling.

Karen Bowden

Financial Business Manager

Karen is the longest serving team member. She is an incredible all-rounder and a multitasker. She primarily looks after the management of our finances and prides herself in our Trust Account management. She gained extensive knowledge over the years in managing Land Division, Business and Lease dealings and is still happy to assist her co-workers in these areas as and when required. She has extensive knowledge and experience in finalising water adjustments post settlement

When not managing our office, Karen enjoys being with her family and grandchildren, creating crafts and gardening.

Chantelle Dreyer

Receptionist/Administration Assistant

Chantelle joined our team in 2021 as our Receptionist/Administration Assistant. She is soon to complete her Advanced Diploma in Conveyancing and has a keen interest in pursuing a career in conveyancing. She enjoys assisting the conveyancing team with a range of tasks. She is especially adapt at managing time sensitive schedules.

As first point of contact, the first friendly voice you will hear belongs to Chantelle. During the settlement process, you will hear from her from time to time as she reminds you about required documents. Her focus is on helping you and making the process as easy and effortless as possible.

When she is not happily looking after client’s needs or studying, you will find her spending time with her family, her friends, her pets and her plants.

Soné Smit

Casual Office Clerk

Soné joined our team in 2022. Soné is a high school student who helps us a few hours per week and during the school holidays.

Soné assists with many administrative duties and is extremely adapt in Microsoft Word. Her smile lights up the office and there is no task she is not willing to give a go.
